AREOLA MICROPIGMENTATION CONTRAINDICATIONS

• Under 18 years of age

• Pregnancy

• Keloids, birthmarks or moles in area, or if you have tendency to keloid

• Diabetic - doctor's note is required and an addendum to consent form must be signed by Client

• Autoimmune disorders can cause poor pigment retention

• Cancer – must be 6 months post chemo

• Circulatory or bleeding disorders - doctor's note is required and an addendum to consent form must be signed by Client

• Epilepsy - doctor's note is required

• Hemochromatosis - doctor's note is required

• Currently taking blood thinning medication

• Currently on antibiotics- causes poor pigment retention

• Currently on Accutane - must wait until 6 months after treatment ends

• Any symptoms of skin disease or irritation present on the area to be treated
