BROW LAMINATION CONTRAINDICATIONS

  • Pregnancy/ nursing- in case of allergic reaction

  • 1/4 or more of existing brow hair grows in downward direction

  • Alopecia affecting brows

  • Trichotillomania (compulsive hair- pulling) affecting brows

  • Thin, sparse brows- Client MUST have moderate to full amount of existing natural brow hair to be eligible for service

  • Weak or damaged brow hair resulting from over styling or product usage

  • Recent peels or laser tx- follow the proper wait- time/ protocol given by your technician for that specific treatment

  • Brow henna less than 48 hours prior to appointment

  • Botox less than one week prior to appointment

  • Microblading/ Microshading or other PMU in the eyebrow area less than 4 weeks prior to appointment

  • Brow bleaching less than 4 weeks prior to appointment

  • Surgical procedure on face/ eye area less than 6 months prior to appointment

  • Skin condition such as eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis affecting the brow area

  • Active lesions, sores, or open wounds on face

  • Active infections such as impetigo or conjunctivitis/ pink eye

  • active contagious skin diseases such as chicken pox, shingles, herpes simplex

  • Current skin trauma, cuts, abrasions, burns, sunburn, swelling in the eyebrow area

  • Hypersensitive skin or eyes

  • Allergy/ sensitivity to dyes

  • Allergy/ sensitivity to any similar service such as hair perm or lash lift in the past

  • Regular use of steroid creams or cortisone creams on the eyebrow area

  • Regular use of Retinol on the eyebrow area

  • Currently taking Accutane

  • Currently undergoing chemotherapy

  • Inability to lie down.  Service requires Client to lie still, flat on their back for at least 30 minutes

  • Hormonal changes are a "wild card" when it comes to the hair and skin and can cause unpredictable outcomes
